Food plays an important role in every child’s health, wellbeing and development. However, meal times are about more than nourishing growing bodies. They also create opportunities for children to connect, build relationships and develop independence.

To support each child’s individual needs, we offer meals progressively throughout the day. As a result, children can eat when they are hungry and ready. Throughout the day, children enjoy breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea, snacks and water.

All meals are freshly prepared on site by our qualified Chef. In addition, we use quality ingredients sourced locally wherever possible. Through our Playground to Plate® program, children help grow, harvest and explore fresh produce from our Food Garden. As a result, children develop a meaningful connection with food and where it comes from.

Our Chef also bakes fresh bread daily and prepares balanced, nutritious meals. Furthermore, we limit the use of refined sugar wherever possible. This supports healthy eating habits from an early age.

We understand that every child has unique dietary requirements. Therefore, our team works closely with families to support allergies, intolerances and cultural preferences. We also cater for medical dietary needs. Most importantly, food safety is a priority, and every meal is prepared with care.

Our seasonal menus are guided by current nutrition recommendations. In addition, they provide children with a variety of wholesome foods. These foods support healthy growth, learning and development. At the same time, they encourage children to explore new flavours and food experiences.
